Vietnam visa application: Abolition of Entry and Exit Declaration Form

Entry/Exit Declaration Form is one of Vietnam visa application forms, which is required of all foreigners coming to the country by plane. When arriving in Vietnam, they need to fill this form at the airport gate.

However, according to announcement of Vietnam Immigration, since July 15, 2013, all the passengers are not required to make entry and exit declaration at 12 border gates (9 border gates and 3 seaports).

In these border gates, there are four in central provinces: Na Meo (Thanh Hoa), Nam Can (Nghe An), Cha Lo (Quang Binh), Bo Y  (Kon Tum).

Five border gates in the southern region are Hoa Lu (Binh Phuoc), Xa Mat (Tay Ninh), Vinh Xuong (An Giang), Tinh Bien (An Giang) and Ha Tien (Kien Giang).

In 2010, the same procedure was removed at 12 border gates nationwide: Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City.

In the future, all other border gates will remove this form when all necessary conditions assemble.
